The Upper Parade Ground “A Gated Community” Sticker goes back to the early days of Paine Mountain Outfitters, when we were first building out the kind of Norwich-inspired designs that would define the brand.
Nearly three years later, it still works for the same reason it did then: if you know, you know.

It is a little insider humor, a little Norwich geography, and a design that does not need much explanation for anyone who has spent time on the Hill.
The distressed black-and-white treatment gives it the look of an old warning placard or field sign, while the joke keeps it firmly in PMO territory.
